We may use cookies to track general, non-personal information about our users (e.g., user name, pages viewed, time spent our Website, and the websites visited just before and just after our Website) for statistical and market research purposes. The information is collected on an aggregated and anonymous basis.

We use cookies to gather information about our Website users’ browser activities in order to constantly improve our Website and better serve our customers. This information assists us to design and arrange our web pages in a most user-friendly manner and to continually improve our Website to better meet the needs of our customers, prospective customers, and visitors.

Your information may also exist within regularly performed server backups.

The foregoing information is collected on an aggregated and anonymous basis.

Web Beacons

Our Website(s) may utilize a variety of methods for tracking purposes, including web beacons (also known as Internet tags, pixel tags and clear GIFs). Web beacons are small pieces of data that are embedded in images on the pages of websites to analyze the traffic patterns, such as the frequency users visit various areas of the Website(s). These methods may involve transmitting information either directly to us or to another entity authorized by us to collect information on our behalf. We also use these technical methods in HTML e-mails that we send our guests to determine whether our guests have opened those e-mails or clicked on links in those e-mails. With web beacon technology, the information that we collect and share is anonymous and not personally identifiable. It does not contain your name, address, telephone number, or email address.

Network Advertisers

Many advertisements are managed and placed on the Website(s) by third parties. These network advertisers may use cookies, web beacons or similar technologies on your computer to help present, better target, and measure the effectiveness of their advertisements, by collecting non-personally identifiable information when you click on or move your cursor over one of their banner advertisements. We may share certain non-personally identifiable information about you as a user with certain network advertisers to help them deliver more relevant advertisements through their ad networks. In some cases, we may have access to information from cookies, web beacons and similar technologies used by network advertisers on the Website(s) and this information may permit us to identify other sites that you have visited that are also associated with the network advertiser.

The use of cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies by network advertisers is subject to their own privacy policies. Finally, once you’ve clicked on an advertisement and have left the Website, our Privacy Policy no longer applies and you must read the privacy policy of the advertiser to see how your personal information will be handled on their website.

Monitoring/Public Information

When any game is updated or “patched,” our patch routine may check your computer to see that you have the most recent version of game-specific files; when you communicate within any game or any other communication feature within the game (e.g., live chat, instant message services and the like), even “privately” to another person, you do so with the understanding that those communications go through our servers, can be monitored by us, you have no expectation of privacy in any of those communications and, accordingly, you expressly consent to monitoring of communications that you send and receive.

You may also choose to disclose personal information in our online chat rooms, blogs, bulletin boards, and other public forums made available through the Website. Your personal information will not be disclosed to third parties other than third parties who provide services to us. We will (and each of our third party service providers with access to such information will agree with us they will) take any legally required steps to secure your personal information. We will use your personal information for recruitment purposes, and if you are offered a job or become employed by us, for other employment-related purposes. By submitting information through Careers Pages, you agree that we may use the information for recruitment and employment purposes (including transferring the data to other countries, transferring your information to other companies authorized to perform specific services, and/or other processing relevant to recruitment purposes).
